These 2 "Fish Prints" by Tristan Coleman have been archivally framed. They are mounted on black mat board to highlight the texture of the paper they were printed. The frame is a dark blue highly polished and highly textured frame that compliments the texture of the fish scales. Tristan uses real fish soaked with ink to print these images. These 2 Egyptian works on Pyrus have been framed using a black velour mat, with a gold inner mat and gold frame.
This is a work on paper the customer bought in Vietnam. The simple white matting gives the sense of space and light, while the polished and textured frame reinforces the asian aesthetic.
This photo by Pilbara photographer Chris Fox has been framed in a contemporary gold frame with complimentary gold filleting inside the mat.
This close up of the lower right hand corner of the frame shows the detail of the gold frame and matching gold fillet. The gold fillet sets off the photo and contrasts dramatically against the heavy machinery in the image.
Indigenous Art
This is an Acrylic on Linen by Donny Woolagoodja, a well know Wandjina Artist of the Kimberley. It has been stretched, then framed with a cream slip and natural timber deep edged frame. Museum grade acrylic is positioned between the frame and slip to provide protection to the valuable work. Similar work by Donny can be found at the Broome 6 Gallery.
This Balinese Ink on Paper has been mounted with conservation Rag Mat. A double mount with a 10ml black inner mat has been used to reinforce the heavily contrasting black/white of the work.
This Military Certificate was archivally framed and mounted using fully reversible mylar tabs, this ensures no adhesive or tapes come into contact with the certificate. The mat board is textured Crescent Rag Mat. The textured mat is a traditional green with a gold inner mat. The traditional metallic finish frame sets off.
Objects, Footy Jumpers and Other Sporting Memorabilia
The Framed Football Jumper can be displayed above or next to the football from the game, preserved in a display case.
West Coast Footy Jumper
This West Coast footy jumper was mounted on Club Colours. An eagles head emblem has been engraved into the mat board at the bottom with the Wizard Computerised Mat Cutter, giving the mounted jumper a specialised presentation.
We offer an easy process for framing work for customers who live outside of Broome or can't visit our store. You can simply email us a digital image of the work you want framed. We will load that image into our Virtual Framing Software and email you images of how the work will look with various frame/mat combinations with quotes for each. If you are happy with the design and price send us your work, we will frame and freight back to you within 10 days.
